Pirastro Chromcor Plus cello strings produce a slightly darker tone than the original Chromcor strings. The A and D strings have a slightly bright sound, while the G and C strings have a warm sound with a short decay. These strings are very responsive, give a large tonal volume, and have exceptional tuning stability and immediate playability.

Chromcor Plus strings have a single filament steel core, wound with chrome steel. These strings also work well with other strings that have a synthetic or gut core.
